Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026
By using Jellar, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
About this platform: Jellar is a product of Social Highway, a trading name operated by its owner across a range of independent products and business lines. Social Highway is not a company name used in public-facing branding - Jellar is the product you are using. When these terms refer to "Jellar", "we", "us", or "our", they refer to Jellar as operated by Social Highway. Contact: hello@jellar.io. Governing jurisdiction: South Australia, Australia.
Our Community Commitment
Jellar exists because of a simple belief: builders who test each other's work make better products. We are building a community where vibe coders lift each other up - where giving honest feedback is valued as much as building something great.
We ask everyone on this platform to approach it in that spirit. Test with genuine effort. Give feedback you would want to receive. Report problems when you see them. The safety and quality of this community is a shared responsibility - Jellar provides the platform and the safeguards, but the community makes it work.
That said, caution is always on the user. Jellar does everything in its power to keep the platform safe, but you are ultimately responsible for your own device security and the information you share. Never enter real personal or financial data into a test project.
1. Who can use Jellar
You must be 18 years or older. You must sign in using a valid GitHub or Google account. You must not be located in a region where we have suspended services (currently Russia, Iran, Israel, and China).
2. Builder responsibilities
As a builder listing a project, you agree that:
- You own or have permission to list the project
- All information in your submission is accurate and honest
- You have disclosed whether your project collects user data, requires login, or requires payment
- Your project does not contain malware, phishing, or illegal content
- Your project does not harvest personal data from testers beyond what you have disclosed
- You will not submit the same project under multiple accounts to manipulate the platform
- For iOS and Android app submissions: you have provided accurate App Store or Play Store links, and the app is publicly accessible for testing
- You will not materially change your project URL or site content after approval in a way that is misleading, harmful, or inconsistent with your submission
Violations result in immediate removal and a permanent ban. Jellar is not liable for any harm caused to testers by a project that misrepresented itself.
3. Tester responsibilities
As a tester, you agree that:
- You will actually use the project before submitting feedback
- Your feedback is honest, specific, and your own
- You will not submit duplicate, bot-generated, or copy-pasted feedback
- You will not use abusive, profane, or discriminatory language in feedback
- You will not attempt to access parts of a project beyond the stated mission
- You will use test data (not real personal information) when a project requests login or data
- For iOS and Android missions: you have the appropriate device and understand that you are accessing an external app store listing outside of Jellar's control
4. Content standards
The following content is prohibited on Jellar in any form - project submissions, mission briefs, or feedback:
- Adult, NSFW, or sexually explicit content (unless explicitly pre-approved)
- Hateful, discriminatory, or violent content
- Content promoting illegal activity
- Misinformation or deliberate deception
- Spam or commercial promotion unrelated to your submitted project
5. Karma
Karma scores are platform points with no monetary value. They cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash. Jellar reserves the right to adjust karma scores for abuse, policy violations, or platform rebalancing.
Karma decays for inactive accounts (no activity in 30 or more days) by approximately 15% per month, floored at zero. New accounts receive a starting karma bonus on first sign-in.
Only reviews that pass admin approval earn karma. Voided reviews result in karma reversal.
6. Payments and packs
Jellar sells one-time review packs. These are not subscriptions. Payment is processed in USD via Stripe. Prices displayed in other currencies are indicative and may differ at the time of actual payment due to exchange rate fluctuations.
Pack purchases grant access to a set number of tester reviews for a defined listing window. Once a pack is activated and your project is live, the pack is considered used - refunds are not available after your project has received one or more approved reviews.
Pulse Boost is a one-time add-on that promotes your project on the Pulse Ladder for 72 hours. It does not extend your review cap or listing window.
Sponsored slots are non-refundable once live. Jellar reserves the right to remove a sponsored listing that violates these terms without refund.
Jellar reserves the right to change pack pricing and features. Purchases made before any price change are honoured at the price and terms in effect at the time of purchase.
7. Account termination and misuse
Jellar reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion - including but not limited to violations of these terms, suspected misuse, fraud, abusive behaviour, or harm to other users or the platform.
Misuse of the platform will result in immediate cancellation of your account and a permanent ban, with no refund of any pack payments or credits paid - at the absolute discretion of Jellar, without restriction or obligation to provide reasons.
By using Jellar, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Jellar's decision to terminate or restrict an account is final
- No refund will be issued upon account termination for misuse or policy violations
- Jellar is not liable for any loss of data, credits, karma, or business opportunity resulting from account termination
- You waive any right to legal action against Jellar arising from account suspension or termination carried out under these terms
You may delete your own account at any time via Settings. See Section 8 for what data is retained after deletion.
8. Intellectual property and review ownership
Builders retain full ownership of their projects. Jellar does not claim ownership of any project listed on the platform.
Review content and feedback sessions submitted by testers are owned by Jellar once submitted. This is because reviews are part of a paid product delivered to builders - the feedback you submit has been paid for by the builder as part of their pack. By submitting a review, you grant Jellar full ownership of that feedback content for the purpose of delivering it to the relevant builder and for quality control of the platform.
This means that if you delete your account, your submitted reviews remain on the platform and are available to the builder who paid for them. Your personal identity (username, avatar) will be removed from those reviews - they will appear as anonymous - but the review content itself will not be deleted.
If you have concerns about what information is included in a review you submit, do not submit it. Once submitted, review content cannot be deleted on request.
9. Liability and tester safety
Jellar takes safety seriously. All submitted projects undergo automated pre-flight checks and human admin review before going live. However, we cannot guarantee the ongoing safety of any listed project. Builders may change their site or app content after approval.
By using Jellar as a tester, you acknowledge that:
- You access all test projects entirely at your own risk
- It is your responsibility to keep your device, browser, and data secure at all times
- You should never enter real personal, financial, or sensitive information into a test project
- Jellar is not liable for any harm, data loss, malware, or damage resulting from accessing a listed project
- If a project looks suspicious, you should leave immediately and use the Report function in the mission briefing
- For iOS and Android missions, you are accessing an external app store and a third-party application outside of Jellar's infrastructure - standard mobile security precautions apply
Builder obligations regarding project changes: By submitting a project, builders attest that the URL, app store listing, and content will not materially change during the listing period. Deliberately changing a project to something different from the approved submission - especially to something harmful, misleading, or malicious - is a serious violation that will result in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to relevant authorities.
Jellar uses periodic re-scanning and tester reports to detect changes. We cannot guarantee instant detection of all changes, which is why tester caution and the Report function are essential safeguards.
Jellar is provided "as is" with no warranty of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of South Australian courts.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated on the platform.
